Let it snow...

Goodness, we've had some snow! A rare event in England, and rather a sparse dusting of the white stuff in these parts. Thus, no snow chaos in our back yard, rather we could have done with a bit more to conceal the mess. Being from the North of Germany, we cannot claim to be seasoned by siberian-type winters, but it is still hard to comprehend how a little bit of snow can bring the country to a complete stand still. Ok, I can understand it a bit where there has been significant snowfall, but not having any snow ploughs does not help. You cannot buy snow tyres either! The link leads to a cute little audio slide show on the wintry weather by the beeb. Anyway, it still looks great!

  1. The funny thing is that every time there is snow, the same thing happens. And every time people say "we're so unprepared!". And nothing...ever...changes.

Aaaah Britain - land of the surprised by weather.
